through the second decade of the 21st century. That is sobering if your advertising budget
and strategy is still living in the first decade or earlier. Gone are the days of Yellow Pages and other antiquated ways
of reaching out to the public to tell your story.
More importantly, how you use the most powerful medium has
changed dramatically. Anyone who thinks
that internet advertising is done the same way as it was 5 years ago has their
head in the sand. The landscape has
changed dramatically.
Now you have three choices for the future of using the
internet to promote your business.
1.
Hire an outside firm at a reasonable price who lives in the internet
advertising world every day.
2. Hire a
full-time employee and hope that the one person you hired can stay on top of
the changes as well as an entire team of people.
3. Do nothing and fall hopelessly behind.
